Hire Me!

As you can probably tell from reading my blog, I'm interested in a lot of things. And I do lots of projects. If you've read about something here that you'd like to hire me to do, please let me know! I have a 8-5 job (you know - a girl's gotta have health insurance), but do freelance all kinds of work:

• Writing - I'm a writer by trade (and schooling), so whether you need ad/brochure copy, web copy, technical/instructional copy or anything in between, let's chat. I charge an hourly rate in line with most other freelance writers.
• Web work - My day job involves lots of web work - email campains, web sites, etc, so if you're looking for someone to do a little HTML for you, I'm your gal. Keep in mind that I'm NOT a programmer - I'm just a girl with minimal formal web training who's stumbled her way into knowing what she's doing with a little code.
• Decorating - While I'm certainly not an interior designer or even a "decorator" in the "I-went-to-school-for-this" sense of the word, I do feel that I have a knack for picking up on people's individual styles and translating that into a room that looks nice. So if you'd like to talk to me - either in person or via phone/email - about working with you to get your house looking its best, I'm game.
• Painting - I like to dabble in pretending I'm actually an artist, and from time to time, I'll post paintings here on the blog that I've done myself. If you're in the market for original artwork for a fraction of what it costs in a store, send me a message and we'll talk.
